Caterina Avataneo, contemporary art curator. She studied Architecture at Politecnico of Turin (2014), before holding an MA in Curating from The London Metropolitan University, delivered in conjunction with Whitechapel Gallery (2017). Her curatorial projects have appeared in Institutions and galleries including Arcade, Zabludowicz Collection, Kunstraum, Austrian Cultural Forum, White Crypt and Gossamer Fog (all London). Since 2018 she is Associate Curator at Arcade, London & Brussels and Curatorial Assistant on assigned projects at Serpentine Galleries. Recently she was Assistant Curator of the Lithuanian Pavilion for the 58th Venice Biennale – winner of the Golden Lion – and Curator in Residence at the Salzburger Kunstverein (Salzburg) and RUPERT (Vilnius).
